About Riki Rachtman
David Andrew “Riki” Rachtman, born June 15, 1965 in Van Nuys, California, is a television & radio personality deeply rooted in hard rock and heavy metal. He’s best known for hosting MTV’s Headbangers Ball (1990–1995) and co-founding Hollywood’s Cathouse nightclub. He played in bands like Virgin and Battery Club and co-hosts the Racing Rocks radio show. In recent years he launched a spoken-word show “One Foot in the Gutter,” hosts American Flat Track racing, and has raised substantial funds through charity motorcycle rides.
